Mizzou Volleyball
2024- 2025
The focus for 2024 - 2025 was to promote the team as the program further grew and developed. More specifically, the team wanted to emphasize its offerings to potential recruits. I continued implementing our social strategies to reach the fanbase and showcase a new era of Mizzou Volleyball through content from practices, games, team bonding activities, and special events/shoots. This year I had full creative freedom, which was fun to utilize.
2023 - 2024
The program underwent coaching changes in 2023, and I had the privilege of working closely with the team, staff, and marketing leads to build up and promote the new program. After many insightful conversations and collaboration with our marketing and creative teams, I curated a social plan to help bring in a larger fanbase and showcase the new faces of Mizzou Volleyball. During the summer I covered volleyball camps, team bonding events, and recruiting activities to help prepare for the fall season. Throughout the season, I captured and created content during practices and games (both home and away), as well as team bonding activities. I also assisted with specialized projects such as a profile piece on one of our players and various photoshoots. The season culminated and ended with the NCAA Division 1 Tournament, where I followed the team throughout their time in Lincoln, Nebraska.
2022 - 2023
During my first season with the Mizzou Volleyball, I created a variety of content for our team and fanbase, ranging from daily instagram stories to longer TikTok's and reels. I gave our followers an inside look at the organization and players representing their favorite SEC school.
My goal for this season was to showcase the personalities on the team and get fans excited about Mizzou volleyball. I looked for ways to demonstrate both the relatability and impressiveness of the athletes, while working to bring in larger home crowds via a more active social presence.

A Trip To SLU

For their final spring 2023 match, the team took a day trip to Saint Louis University. I went along to cover the match and the team bonding that occurred during the trip. I documented the girls visiting the Gateway Arch, having dance parties on the bus and eating a post-game dinner at a player's house. I was able to connect with the team and learn their quirks, as well as showcase the fun aspects of the program.
Ask Mizzou Vb: Question Series
TikTok allows me to showcase the diverse and fun personalities on the team. One of the team goals was to continue growing our fanbase on the platform. The video above is one of the "Question of the Week" series videos from the 2023 - 2024 season. Each video in this series was planned, filmed and edited by me, and was a joy to work on.
